I'm a computer scientist who likes drawing and painting and parkrun. I founded the BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium, a one-day conference for women students of computing, and I was a founder member of Scientists are Humans, an online magazine with the lofty aim of trying to make STEM more kind (we had a go and kept it up for, like, 5 years... then we ran out of oomph). This is my personal homepage, which mostly consists of links to other things.

• My blog is a collection of short articles about mostly techy stuff.
• I wrote a random exercise plan generator which takes a list of exercise types, and the amount of time you have to spend on exercise each day, then generates a week's plan for you. The idea is it gives you an exercise plan which is varied, and hopefully stops you getting caught in a rut.
• The Android Programming Family Fun Day is a one-day bring-your-own-device workshop on building mobile phone apps for kids (and their parents). This is creative commons licensed, so if you want to adapt it for your own purposes, feel free. I haven't run this myself for a few years now, so it might be out of date, but if anyone wants to take it and run with it they'd be welcome.
• A page of exercises/demos for Pythagoras Day (5/12/13) which we used in a museum full of 8-year-olds.
